Our colleague and friend John Riley has gone missing. He was last seen boarding a train at Ruislip Manor this morning and there are serious concerns for his welfare from both his family and colleagues.

John is now safe
We are relieved to hear this, and have no further information.
We have been asked if tonight’s Cabinet meeting could be postponed or cancelled: we have heard no such news, and the LBH website shows it as being timetabled as normal. This is the meeting which includes the closure of the Rural Activities Garden Centre as we have detailed extensively elsewhere.

The police are being very good and keeping his family, Philip and colleagues informed. He doesn’t have his phone with him. But they are following up leads which I believe includes CCTV.
