WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES BEING LISTED MAKE?

Proposals for Listed Buildings legally require Listed Building Consent – for all internal and external works. Any planning proposals for listed buildings will require a higher standard of design, use of traditional materials, and any new features need to be complementary to the existing building. A Council conservation officer will work with the applicant to ensure that the plans, and implementation, respect the Listed Building.

To make general enquiries you may email the LBH Conservation team on this email address;
