Flooding near Park Woods
Good news for all those who live around Park Wood – the Affinity Water main that runs through the woods, and that has burst on a number of occasions, has now been decommissioned and emptied. Affinity Water have listened to the concerns of residents and worked out a way of providing water to everyone without the need for this problematic main pipe. Affinity Water will now discuss with Hillingdon Council, who own the woods, and Natural England, what should be done with the now disused pipe.
