Lidl’s next local planning application – by Hillingdon station

Lidl have filed a new application for a new supermarket nearby.  Not in Ruislip, and outside of our area, but we watch with interest.

This one is for the derelict ex-Ruston Bucyrus land near Hillingdon station – we merged the first draft of Lidl’s plan onto a Google Maps screenshot to give an idea of the location and layout:

We have also seen these renders from a copy of then leaflet that they delivered to a few homes at the end of last year during their pre-application local consultation:

The application is live on the LB Hillingdon website now, showing as having been received on 4th April, was validated on 6th June, and the consultation officially runs between 11th June and 2nd July.

However with a “press expiry” date of 9th July we know from Lidl’s application at The Orchard that comments can be sent upto the later of those two dates – so anyone wishing to send in their comments for consideration by LBH has until 9th July.
