Ruislip lies entirely within the London Borough of Hillingdon, and covers two wards: Ruislip and Ruislip Manor. Ruislip Ward has three councillors and Ruislip Manor two:

MAYOR OF LONDON

Ruislip is in the Greater London region, and so takes part in the election of the Mayor of London. This is not to be confused with the Lord Mayor of London, who is the head of the Corporation of London, ie. the Square Mile’s government. The current Mayor of London is:
