The Barn Hotel public meeting – 23 October 2024 at 19:00

We have arranged a special meeting, which will be held online at 19:00 on Wednesday 23 October 2024, where we will be able to discuss the Barn Hotel site’s redevelopment in more detail.  The site’s developers have agreed to join us, so they will be giving an overview presentation on their plans, and answering residents’ questions.

We had already arranged our General Public Meeting at Winston Churchill Hall for Tuesday 8th October 2024 before the new plans for the redevelopment at the Barn Hotel in Ruislip were published on the LB Hillingdon planning website.

Sue Browne prepared a brief presentation (you can download her slides here) in the short time available between the plans’ publication and our meeting, but did not have time to read the plans closely or research many answers to the questions that residents at the meeting asked on the night.

We will be holding the meeting online, and expect that lots of Ruislip residents will want to attend.  We need to know roughly how many people will be attending so that we can make sure we have the right type of Zoom or Google Meet account to accommodate everyone who’d like to join us.

If you would like to ask a question

We have agreed with the developers that we will send our questions to them before the meeting so that they have time to research and prepare answers where necessary.  To allow the meeting to run smoothly and to avoid duplication, we will combine questions where multiple people ask similar questions.  If you’d like to submit a question,  please do so by using this form.
