The Society of Ruislip Artists
The Society of Ruislip Artists meet the first Tuesday of each month at the Stables on the Manor Farm Complex, Ruislip. We have Art demonstrations by Professional Artists and guests are always very welcome to join us. Meetings are from 7.30 – 9.30 pm.
Also the Society takes part in various indoor and outdoor Exhibitions. During the summer months we have outdoor painting days, visitor’s fee £2. Phone (01895) 636135.

Pinner and Ruislip Beekeepers Association

Middlesex Bonsai Society
Are you interested in the art of “Bonsai”, or looking for a new hobby?
We are a long established Club catering for all levels of interest.
We meet monthly with visiting Speakers, demonstrations and in-house workshops.
Why not come to one of our meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm at South Harrow Methodist Church-Hall, Walton Avenue, off Eastcote Lane.

Hillingdon Decorative and Fine Arts Society
The Society was founded as an Association to encourage a wider appreciation and knowledge of decorative and fine arts. No prior knowledge is necessary to enjoy these illustrated talks by enthusiastic and expert speakers, many of whom work in national museums and broadcast on radio and television. In addition, self-financing outings and special interest days are also arranged.
The Society meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at Winston Churchill Hall in Ruislip at 2.00 pm. Phone 01895 233377

Society for Disabled Artists Ruislip Group 
The Ruislip group of the Society of Disabled Artists meets every Wednesday 1.30-3.30pm in the Ruislip Methodist Church, Ickenham Road. New members, beginners or experienced are welcome as are able bodied people to work along with the disabled members for their mutual satisfaction. Local exhibitions are held, also the National Exhibition takes place annually, usually in August. Phone 020 8841 5917

Garden Daze Coach Trips
If you have an interest in visiting other peoples gardens, private or public and enjoy flowers and plants, then consider a day out with like minded people to gardens that you may not have discovered or visited before.
Garden Daze plans such garden outings, departing from St. Martins Approach, Ruislip and in 2003 we have trips planned for May, June & July.

Girl Guiding - Guides, Brownies and Rainbows
We meet in various locations in Ruislip and we have units on most days of the week.
Rainbows are between the ages of 5 - 7, Brownies 7 -10, Guides 10-16. We do lots of activities including overnight to week camps, craft, games outdoor activities and lots of fun.

Ruislip Central Horticultural Society
Formed in 1940, the Society stages three flower shows each year in the Great Barn, publishes regular bulletins, arranges talks and visits for both the main Society and the Cactus Section and has a Trading Centre for members in the forecourt of the Great Barn every Sunday morning (10 until 11. 3 0 am) from February to the end of November. Ruislip Lions Club
Over 30 years old and still going strong but always on the look out for new members, male and female, who are interested in charitable fund-raising activities and enjoy good social occasions. Ruislip, Northwood & Eastcote Local History Society
The Society exists to encourage interest in the history and conservation of the ancient parish of Ruislip (which includes Northwood and Eastcote). It meets on the third Monday of each month from September to April at 8.15pm at St Martins Church Hall, Ruislip. It also organises walks and outings, undertakes new research and produces regular publications. Visitors are welcome. The National Trust

Ruislip Northwood Old Folk's Association
The Elm Park Club (Ruislip Manor) and The Tudor Club (Eastcote) are open to all residents aged 60 plus. They offer fresh cooked lunches at very reasonable prices every weekday (except public holidays), also social activities and outings. Both Clubs are part of RNOFA (registered charity 250776), a local voluntary organisation founded more than 50 years ago. Field End Photographic Society
Field End is one of the most respected photographic societies in UK. We meet on Monday evenings at 8pm in the Methodist Church Hall, Ickenham Road, Ruislip and new members are always welcome. We cater for all levels of ability and knowledge, from happy snappers to experts and  a tea break at 9 gives a chance for a good chat. The season, from September to June, is made up of  a wide variety of practical sessions, lectures and competitions. External excursions are also organised.

Polio Fellowship

The Rotary Club of Elthorne-Hillingdon 
The Club meets at 7.30 p.m. every Wednesday evening at The Uxbridge Cricket Club.  Our membership is usually drawn from business and professional people either living or working within the London Borough of Hillingdon. What do we do?
Have a lot of fun, make new friends, earn some respect, get a taste of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines. Gain some serious qualifications.
Who can join?
Anyone the Commanding Officers can cope with. Aged between 10 and 18, boys and girls, Mums, Dads and all those at a loose end. Not only do we provide excellent opportunities for the cadets but we train adults as well. Want to be an instructor? We can teach you. Fancy doing a bit of DIY? There is a project waiting. Perhaps you like the idea of being a general helper or helping raise funds Come along we can use you! Its fun but committing for all. Once you are in you will be hooked!
When?
Twice a week and frequent activity weekends. Want a break from everyday life? Numerous adventure courses are available at home and away. Want to go on a Warship? This is the place for you. Fancy sailing to France? There is a berth waiting for your application. Want some new life skills? Come along and check us out.

Because 1500 cadets and 500 adults can’t be wrong!

Elm Park Sociable Scrabblers
Scrabble is a fun way to keep the mind bright and lively! Elm Park Sociable Scrabblers do not aspire to tournament standards, but enjoy friendly competitive play at a more relaxed level. Ruislip and Pinner Travel Club
Do you go enjoy going on holiday?  If so join the Ruislip and Pinner Travel Club.
The Club meets on alternate Fridays in the Village Hall, Chapel Lane, Pinner from September to April, when members present shows on their travels worldwide. The first meeting of the new season will be on Friday 28 September.
New members are always very welcome. We look forward to you joining us.

Northwood Guild of Winemakers
We meet on the 3rd Friday of the month at 8pm at Manor Farm Complex in Ruislip.
We make a wide variety of wines, many to a commercial standard.
Evenings are always informative, with social intervals. Annual subscription £9. Visitors pay £1 per visit.

There are usually wine tastings, often commercial wines.
New members are very welcome, especially beginners.
