outstanding payments for items or services that you have not ordered? |

Act quickly!!

Don’t ignore the problem, you may not have ordered the
goods, or opened an account but the debt falls to your name and address. |

Contact the company(s) or agency in writing to explain the
circumstances. |

Obtain legal advice (solicitor and/or Citizens Advice
Bureau). |

Be careful with your personal information |

When destroying personal correspondence, utility bills or
bank/credit card statements use a shedder or tear into very small pieces to
mix with other waste products in refuse bins. |

If you do move address inform Royal Mail to redirect all
post and inform all the companies, businesses and family/friends that send
personal information. |
