New Year's Green Lane Cost Increase
Hillingdon Council Cabinet has agreed to increase the amount to be paid to Colas Ltd for the re-development the Civic Amenity site at New Year's Green Lane by £602,785. This amount represents an increase of 26.78% on the £2,250,326.43 originally agreed. The reason given for the increase was "to enable the final phase of works to improve the facility for residents and users" – the alternative being "to leave the re-development partially complete".
